1. What inspired you to start your career in medical aesthetics?
I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of art and medicine — aesthetics is where these two worlds meet in perfect harmony. My passion lies in creating balance and beauty in a way that enhances confidence while
remaining entirely natural.
Within the NHS, there’s limited scope to explore this artistic side of reconstructive medicine, so establishing Milani Private Clinic allowed me to bring that vision to life: a safe, regulated, and elegant environment where every treatment is led by a consultant plastic surgeon and every client knows they are in expert hands.
2. Tell us about your medical aesthetics journey.
My journey began after graduating from medical school, followed by two years of service in the army and extensive specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery — a pathway that demanded dedication, countless exams, and years of refinement.
I now serve as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and through Milani Private Clinic, I extend that same level of surgical precision and care to the world of aesthetic medicine. My focus has always been to provide treatments within a regulated, clinical environment where artistry, safety, and integrity come together.
3. What has helped your clinic grow?
Our growth is built on trust, transparency, and exceptional standards of care. At Milani Private Clinic, every treatment is performed personally by me — a Consultant Plastic Surgeon — ensuring each patient receives
expert, individualised attention.
Unlike many clinics, we never delegate procedures to less experienced practitioners under a consultant’s name. We are also completely transparent about the products and brands we use, allowing our patients to feel fully informed and confident in their treatment choices. That honesty and professionalism have become the foundation of our reputation.
4. What’s one piece of advice you would give to fellow or aspiring entrepreneurs?
The most rewarding path is rarely the most travelled one. Follow the vision that truly inspires you, not the one that others expect.
You only live once — make it count by building something that reflects your passion and purpose.
