People can get quite nervous about attending our Foundation Botox and Filler Course, if they have never done anything like this before.
It’s exciting starting your aesthetic journey and it’s natural to have a wee bit of nerves too!
Here’s what a day in the life of a typical foundation course delegate looks like…….
0930 – 1000 And we’re off!
The course starts with a cuppa & warm welcome from the Inspired Cosmetic Training Team.
You’ll then be joined by one of our friendly expert tutors who will give you a run-through of the day’s agenda. They will explain to you the plan for the day and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
They will also run over and have a recap on the pre course learning modules you completed before attending the course.
1000 – 1430 Treating your first patients
You’ll be in a group of a max of 3 other people, small group learning is the best always.
You’ll be observing other delegates working and then its your turn! You have roughly a one hour time slot to treat your model.
At 10 am, the first model will be brought through. Your tutor will be with you the full time to offer their expertise and guide you through the processes. Prior to starting the treatment, you will take ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures of the model which will allow both yourself and the model to accurately see the work you have done.
A full assessment of the model will be done, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and then our first delegate will begin marking up the face showing where to inject. You will discuss with our tutor how much to inject into each section.
Then it’s time for your hands-on experience to begin! You will complete the treatment on the model with our tutor giving you tips and feedback throughout.
You’ll be working on the following techniques with you tutor on your model:
BOTOX®: Peri-orbital (crows feet), frontalis (forehead lines) and glabellar (frown lines) Dermal Fillers: Lips (definition and volume).
Watching each other is of real benefit as you get to see how the treatments can vary on different faces and you will learn from each other too and listening to the tutors feedback.
During the day we have time for a short lunch break and a chat with the other delegates.
1430-1500 Open for Discussion
Now it’s time for your group discussion. If there is anything you are unsure about or have any general treatment questions then now is the time to ask! Our tutor is more than happy to go over anything from the course that you may not have understood, it is beneficial to be in a group as someone else might ask a question you haven’t thought of yet.
15000 Course Evaluation and Certificates!
You did it!
Congratulations, you have now completed the course with us. This means if you have met the pass criteria, it’s time for you to be accredited with your CPD certificate. Of course, at Inspired Cosmetic Training we understand that this full-day course is a lot to take in. This is why we provide you with full aftercare and 100% ongoing support in your aesthetics journey!
You can leave the course knowing you have all the theory and now practical skills under your belt.
