If you’re racking your brain about how to get more customers through the door, whether you’re starting up or growing your business, here’s some ideas that might be good to try out.
1/ Social media is probably at the top of everyone’s list!
Social media is great for building brand awareness. The key is not just to POST REGULARLY but to interact. Comment, like and share other people’s posts & try to follow a few people each week.
Let’s mix it up a bit too!!
2/ Local Ad Space
Get some posters done and post them around the local area on the likes of notice boards. Try shops, shopping centres, gyms etc.
If you’ve got a bit of a budget, try board advertising, things like lorries parked in farmer’s fields by a busy road – but remember what you can and can’t advertise!
3/ Offer a Sale or Discount.
Everyone loves a discount, especially if you’re lower price wise than a competitor, but the problem sometimes with this tactic is when you raise your prices again!
Instead of pushing prices down, try adding value. This might look like a gift/voucher for another treatment when someone buys a certain treatment
P.S. Again remember to be careful when advertising deals around Botox as it’s a POM
4/ Network with other small businesses.
Link up with other businesses in your area, stay informed about local trade shows and events your business can attend.
5/ Newspapers – think of a storyline you can give a local paper
Maybe you took part in a charity event, gave a carer a free aesthetic makeover, or sponsored a local event.
Or even better, can you find a topical story on aesthetics that will grab the reporter’s attention?
6/ Education & Getting to Know You – Rather than focusing on promotion all the time, try to spend more time connecting and getting to know your customers and vice versa.
Educating your audience builds trust and will keep them coming back for more!
7/ Become the Known Specialist in your area
Pick an area you are interested in or where you think there will be more demand for.
Spend time advancing your knowledge in this area.
You could become the “Skin-Specialist” of your local area (and beyond!!)
Skin treatments keep customers coming back in between Botox/filler treatments, it’s great for profit margins and quick to do!
