Chemical peels and Microneedling treatments are the most popular cosmetic treatments to improve the skin's appearance, they can often be used ahead of more invasive treatments such as injectables.

They are easy to learn under expert tuition and great to add to your treatment list as well as increasing your profit margin…

About Our Practical Training Course: 

This training course will provide you with the confidence, knowledge and practical skills you need to safely and effectively offer these treatments covering -

• Skin anatomy and physiology
• Common skin problems you will see and how to manage them.
• Overview on skin peels
• Types of skin peels - light peels and medium depth peels
• Overview on skin microneedling and skin rejuvenation
• Correct skin care and assessment
• Correct consultation
• Treatment plans, pre and post peel care, complications
• Practical demonstration of skin peels & microneedling
• Your own “Hands on” experience of applying the products
• Peels - We will be using light to moderate skin peels and microneedling - derma roller on this course

Skin peels use a combination of ingredients to gently and effectively remove the outer layers of the skin and also stimulate the deeper layers of skin to address skin issues. 

They are commonly used in the face or backs of hands to improve skin texture and appearance by helping to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, blemishes and acne.

Microneedling is the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for rejuvenation to stimulate tissue regeneration and is particularly effective for scarring, wrinkles, pigmentation and stretch marks.

Who can attend? 

Medical and non-medical professionals minimum entry requirement Level 3 Beauty or equivalent

The course will be particularly useful for non prescribing nurses who wish to build up their treatment range where we will show you how you can receive excellent treatment results without using botox.

Models: Delegates practice peels on each other and we supply models for microneedling.

After the Course:

Provided you reach the required standard, you will gain a CPD certificate.

This qualifies to carry out the treatments covered in the course as you will have the knowledge and clinical skills to treat your own patients with optimal results.

Venue: Our courses are held in The Glen Clinic, Thornliebank. However, depending on numbers this is subject to change to a clinic in Glasgow's city centre.

Cancellation: As we only have limited spaces on each course, we have a strict cancellation policy. Please note once you have booked and your invoice has been sent to your email we take this as a confirmed booking and payment is required. 

Payment: We require a deposit of 50 % of the course fee within 24 hours through BACS. 

Payment Plan – When booking online you can select to pay via Paypal and you can pay in 3 easy installments or contact us to design a payment plan that suits you. When booking by PayPal, check you can see 3-in-1 payment as an option to pay. If you don’t see this option, please contact PayPal directly, as this is subject to PayPal checks

Terms and conditions

1. If paying by invoice: a deposit of 50% is required within 24 hours of booking to secure your place, and the remaining balance is required in full at least two weeks before the course date. (You are also welcome to pay in full upon booking if you so wish.) Details of how to pay are on your invoice, if we do not receive this your place will be cancelled. You can also pay online by credit/debit card.

2. All cancellations must be received in writing to carolyn@medicacpd.com. All cancellations will be acknowledged. 

3. Refund Policy: Less than 2 weeks before the course the full fee is due, regardless whether the delegate attends or not. We cannot change your course date. More than 2 weeks notice we will refund course fee, please note deposits are non-refundable. If paying by credit/debit card, the terms and conditions still apply.  

4. All delegates will receive confirmation of their booking and further information. If you have not heard from us 3 days before the course please email: carolyn@medicacpd.com 

5. When we receive your booking form or registration information over the phone, we take this as a confirmed booking. It is your responsibility to ensure we receive full payment. 

6. The vast majority of participants are deemed to be competent to gain their certificate. If the tutor feels you are not competent to practise by the end of the course, you will not receive your course certificate. To this end, we encourage you to read the full course details and programme before registering. If you choose to redo the course, the full course fee will be payable again. We also strongly recommend, after you complete the course, that you continue to keep up to date with training to further your knowledge and clinical skills - and that you also look into how to set up your aesthetic practice in advance of the course.

7. Due to circumstances out of our control, we reserve the right to change venue, trainers, programme and dates in the event of an emergency arising. Due to this, we encourage you not to book any travel arrangements until, at most, 4 weeks before any course date. We are not responsible for paying or reimbursing any costs related to course changes or cancellation. 

8. In order for us to order training stock for practical sessions, we require valid up to date UK registration. It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure we receive valid UK registration at time of booking. If we do not have this information we are unable to take you on the course and cancellation and refund terms will still apply.
