Cannulas provide a valuable addition to every medical aesthetic practitioner’s clinic. Using a cannula to apply filler decreases bruising and pain with no local anaesthetic required.

Advantages of using a cannula in medical aesthetics:

  • Reduction in bleeding, swelling, bruising and intravascular injection of filler
  • Reduces the risk of complications
  • Smoother, continuous delivery of filler
  • Fewer injections required
  • Reduces discomfort
  • Greater patient satisfaction

This cannula course will take you through all the essential knowledge you need to know about cannulas including plenty of time for questions

This includes the benefits of using a cannula and managing complications.

On the practical training day, you will be treating your own model with the support and supervision of your tutor.

Course content:

  • Overview of facial anatomy
  • Advance your consultation process
  • Complications, management and reducing risks
  • Placement techniques and entry points
  • Cannula versus needle: when to use
  • Live demonstration by tutor *
  • 'Hands-on' practical on your model

By the end of the course, you will have learned how to safely and effectively administer dermal fillers using cannulas to treat cheeks and nasolabial folds.
