Director, Inspired Cosmetic Training
Carolyn is the Director of Inspired Cosmetic Training. She brings 20+ years in developing and organising training courses and large-scale events. Carolyn has been instrumental in building Inspired Cosmetic Training – originally launched in 2010 alongside Mr Taimur Shoaib (Consultant Plastic Surgeon) into one of the UK’s most respected medical aesthetic training academies.
Carolyn holds a BA, MSc, and Post Graduate Diploma, and her career includes serving as the CPD Manager at the University of Glasgow’s Medical Faculty. She is also the founder of Medica CPD, which has become a leading provider of high-quality professional development conferences and training for health and education professionals across the UK.
A passionate organiser, Carolyn oversees the day-to-day running of Inspired Cosmetic Training, often the first point of contact for course enquiries and is present on training days to ensure everything runs seamlessly. Her commitment to supporting delegates continues long after the course ends, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and professional growth.
Carolyns contributions extend beyond training courses in medical aesthetics; she also leads initiatives like the Scottish Aesthetic Conference and The Business of Aesthetics Fest, supporting ongoing professional development for the Scottish medical aesthetic community.
Outside of work Carolyn enjoys hill walking, skiing, golf, gym classes and spending time with friends and family (and of course Meggie, the dog!).
